And this after during the election campaign last year saying they wont cut jobs like the Opposition (PC) leader said they had planned too. Not to mention all the union run adds vilifying the opposition's stance on cutting redundant jobs by attrition or early retirement.

Actually, Hudak never said that he would cut those jobs—he said that the positions would not be filled when they left. Wynne twisted that into "firing 100,000" or however many it was. No matter who got in, it was inevitable, Ontario is too far in the red not to do something of the sort.

If she didn't lie about her campaign I would of been less agitated. O well there is that carbon tax to look forward to next.

Why not? His personal life was a mess, but he did basically what he set out to do. There was a study done before the election to boost his rivals by saying he'd cost the city money. They found he'd saved over a billion dollars, whereas the guy before him just kept getting everyone deeper in the hole year after year with stupid things like renovating his office etc.
What I'm saying is, Ford did a good job shaking everything up and getting things back on track, although it's probably for the better that we have someone more stable now. If we did the same thing provincially it would probably be a good thing. Let the Great White Ford run wild for a few years, then replace him with somebody more level-headed.

You must be new to politics. I don't know anything about the specifics of what's going on in Canada, but if it's even half as dysfunctional as what those jackasses are doing in Washington, then you're in trouble.

Frankly I didn't like Hudak either... he didn't seem to have the balls to stand up for what he believed. Better than Wynne tho.
I'm going to stop before I get booted for political shit-flinging on oppo.

Yeah, it's true. As entertaining as the guy was, he actually did do quite alot of good and cleaned up a ton of the bureaucratic bullshit in Toronto. That's probably why the city council wanted him gone so badly.
